Cinemalaya 20 Retrospective: Watch Cinemalaya films for free

Run — don’t walk! — to your nearest FDCP Cinematheque to watch past Cinemalaya films. Free.

IN TIME FOR ITS UPCOMING twentieth edition in August, Cinemalaya, in partnership with the FDCP Cinematheques, is running a free retrospective of the festival’s first two decades. The screenings are free and open to the public.

The films included in the lineup include Aurelius Solito’s Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros, Jade Castro’s Endo, Pepe Diokno’s Engkwentro, and Arden Rod Condez’s John Denver Trending among others. The screenings happen at FDCP’s Cinematheque in Manila, as well as its regional cinemas in Iloilo, Davao, Negros, and Nabunturan.

Here’s the full schedule shared on Cinemalaya’s Facebook Page.

The screenings happen from July 10th – 27th, 2024, and are, again, free and open to the public. For FDCP Cinematheque, you will need to scan a QR code to purchase your tickets (presumably to reserve your seats).
