Unreel opens its doors to writers and editors with unique perspectives to share on Philippine and world cinema.
This is a (mostly) paid opportunity. The vision is for the site to be fully reader-funded. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re happily taking money out of our pockets to host the site and pay for select writings.
We pay the industry-going rate for said pieces, but as implied, we have a very limited budget. This will hopefully change as the site grows. As for everything else, we offer contributors: access to press invites, including screenings and screeners; film festival passes; and a platform that champions diversity, progress, and truth in film.
