PELíCULA>PELíKULA returns to onsite screenings in Manila

The free Spanish film festival returns to face-to-face screenings for its 21st edition.

After two online editions, PELíCULA — the Spanish film festival created by the Instituto Cervantes de Manila — returns to face-to-face FREE screenings for its 21st edition.

The festival happens from October 5th through 16th, 2022.

PELíCULA hosts screenings for a variety of Spanish and Latin American films, including Fernando León de Aranoa’s El buen patrón, a comedy starring Javier Bardem, the Colombian documentary, Jinetes del Paraíso, and classic films like Juan Antonio Bardem & Luis García Berlanga’s 1951 film, Esa pareja feliz.

As mentioned earlier, PELíCULA screenings are free on a first-come, first-served basis. The screenings will happen at the Instituto Cervantes in Manila (in Intramuros) and “select venues in Metro Manila.”
